Nepotism/ SP creates ethics commission to check relatives at leadership level:
From a meeting of the SP parliamentary group

The Socialist Party aims to combat nepotism and clientelism in the ranks of public administration by creating an ethics commission.

The project was presented before the parliamentary group in the presence of Edi Rama and the details were given by the group's chairman, Taulant Balla.

Balla emphasized the importance of a clear separation between political function and family ties.

He stated that family members of Socialist Party deputies should not have commitments in public administration, adding that anyone in this situation should resign from this position.

"I'm taking the example: I am an elected member of parliament of the Socialist Party, it should be very clear to all those in my family circle that they have nothing to do with public administration. Fortunately, they don't have this problem, but anyone who has this problem should get out of this problem ," said Taulant Balla.

The ethics committee within the SP will be headed by Lindita Nikolla and members Kiduina Zaka, Erjon Malaj, Marjana Koceku and Ermal Elezi.
