The Armed Forces of Albania will be equipped with modern radars for airspace surveillance. This is announced by the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, who says that Albania has signed a contract with the company "Thales Group".
Vengu participated in the "Paris Air Show", where aircraft, airplanes, drones and other high-tech equipment were exhibited.
"The Air Force takes another big step forward in the modernization mission.
Following the bilateral agreement agreed during President Macron's visit to Tirana last month, a contract is signed with the company Thales Group for equipping the Air Force with modern radar for the surveillance of the national airspace.
A significant investment for Albania's security and our commitments within the alliance", writes Vengu.
