Minister of Defense meets with NATO chief in Brussels

Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, during his visit to Brussels, also met with NATO chief, Mark Rutte.

"Direct and very productive conversation with NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, focused on current security challenges and Albania's ever-growing role within the Alliance."

Albania contributes decisively to collective defense and affirms itself as a factor of stability and a reference point for security in the region, standing side by side with the Allies, from peacekeeping missions to the most important international operations, in the service of peace and Euro-Atlantic values.

In this spirit, the continued support of Allies remains key to strengthening our defense capacities and increasing operational readiness," says Nufi, in a post on social media, where he also shared several photos.
