Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the Socialist Party Assembly in Vlora, commented on the criticism he has received from former members and members of this political force recently.
Rama accused these criticisms of being slander, which, according to him, are made to attack and hurt the Socialist Party.
"Everyone is trying to invent something every day to attack and hurt the SP, and this is normal," he added.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that it is important for SP members not to lose focus and have "immunity" against these accusations.
"Why should we talk about this? Because we have become too strong to be acceptable to others, and the success of the past elections, where we won 83 mandates, is not being criticized by anyone who is not part of us. Everyone seeks to invent anything every day to attack and hurt the SP, and this is normal.
What is not normal is for our entire body to lose focus from the things that really matter, to fall into complacency, instead of being mobilized to continue and ensure that last year's victory is repeated.
The most important thing is to create an immunity to this fog and mud that aims to mislead public opinion and cloud the eyes of our membership, with all kinds of slander, fabrications, exaggerations, and idle gossip.
"But why is it important for us to talk about this? To understand that others are eagerly waiting to produce even absurd news, to add to the fog and mud that is thrown every day, preventing people from seeing what is really happening," he said.
