Incumbent President Ilir Meta said on Thursday that after July 25 he will be active in politics.

Invited to the show "Open", Meta said that his battle is to return Albania to the Albanians, while adding that the Constitution must be inviolable.

"To leave politics at this moment is an abandonment of Albanian citizens. I can not leave politics even though I had made a plan. "But to leave politics at the moment is a betrayal," said Meta.

Meta also spoke about the possibility of cooperation with Rama. According to him, the constitutional amendments of 2008 have revealed that the author is Edi Rama, and consequently is excluded from the possibility of cooperation.

In recent days in foreign and domestic media Meta has been accused of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on lobbying to fix his image in the United States.

According to them, the expenses were not declared either in the party balance sheets or in the declarations of his wealth and that of his wife, Monika Kryemadhi.

For this a few days ago there was a lawsuit in SPAK by former MP Halit Valteri.

To put it bluntly, Meta is the person adaptable to crying out for people's concerns and still needs politics to help them.
