US Ambassador to Tirana Yuri Kim used the ceremony of the restoration work ceremony of the Preza Castle to convey a message.
The ambassador said this week will be packed with cultural activities within the framework of "American Week". But leaving preza Castle, as Kim said, means no return to the past.
"We are here to remind ourselves of all the greatness we had in the past and we can rise again. I don't think anyone would want us to go back to writing, but we're going to make money towards the future. Albania is the land of Skinterbeu, and you know that I am a very great admirer of the Skanderbew. You might think it's the land of Skanderbeg, but it's more than that, it's our children's land. We are here together with the future and we can learn from the lessons of the past.'- Yuri Kim said.
The Ambassador's statement arrives after Sali Berisha's accusations. Berisha said recently that he had complained to President Joe Biden about what he calls ambassadorial interference in the PD's internal election processes.
