I do not judge that there is another political force in Albania that can make this a reality other than the DP. In the situation we are in today, especially with the danger that was threatening the DP by returning to decision-making power, Mr. Berisha… this is the reason why I said out loud what I think. "I have never had anything personal with Sali Berisha, ever."
Bardhi stressed that he has nothing personal with Berisha, but according to him, the former prime minister is keeping the DP under confusion.
"Until the day when Berisha thought of taking his movement out of the party institutions, on November 11, Gazment Bardhi, even in his capacity as Secretary General, did not say a word. I did not communicate with anyone from the party structures to tell them whether or not they should go to Berisha's rostrums, I did not make any comment in the media.
The moment that Berisha took all his movement out of the party institutions, at that moment I perceived what I had suspected from the beginning that Berisha was not interested in an institutional battle within the DP but was interested in keeping the DP in disarray as it is holding it at the moment. .
