Albanian activist living in the United States of America, Evi Kokalari, spoke tonight about long-distance clashes with former Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli.
Asked by Arian Çani about her opinion if Topalli was elected president, Kokalari said ironically that this would be the best action as Topalli did not want anyone on his feet and the post suited him.
Among other things, she said the former speaker could not even dissolve her own party, which was formed before the April 25 elections.
"Josephine's jokes look to me like they did in 1980. Jozefina started it herself. She will be fine as president. The president is very isolated in Albania. This does not want anyone on foot and as president will be perfect. "Jozefina has expressed this problem with women who do not shake hands or greet, even with some foreigners", she declared.
It took 5 thousand signatures to open the party and they tell me that this is the problem. I have documents that she can not dissolve her party now. She is still a member of her own party. It takes 2/3 of the vote to dissolve the party. There are other individuals who want to stay in the party. The court overturned the decision to dissolve the party. She could come out very open. They start me and send me documents. This is the reality. "I have documents signed by the court," said Kokalari.
