British media have extensively covered Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to Albania, emphasizing that one of his objectives was to convince Prime Minister Edi Rama of a plan for immigrants similar to that of Italy.

The Telegraph writes that Starmer was "embarrassed" in Albania, after the prime minister clearly told him a "No" in the live media conference the two held.

"Starmer was scorned" in Albania, writes the British newspaper, reflecting Rama's response, who said that an agreement like Italy's on migrants would not be repeated with any other country.

Starmer is reportedly also in discussions with other countries in the region such as Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
