The Castle of Lëkurës in Saranda has been handed over to the Ministry of Culture for administration, with a decision of the Council of Ministers published today.
Since 2000, the Castle of Lëkurës had served as a bar and restaurant after being given a contract of several years by the then government, while also remaining accessible to all visitors.
The castle, which is located on the mountain of Lëkurës above Sarandë, and offers spectacular views of the city, is considered one of the most visited destinations mainly during the summer season.
