Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has reacted again regarding the oil discovered in Shpirag in Berat.

Through a status on "Facebook" she states that she will now start a long path of change for our country and that all this discovered wealth belongs to Albanians.

Balluku says that the decade ahead will mark a new, prosperous period for our country.

"The discovery of Shell Upstream Albania is a milestone for an oil-bearing country like Albania, but never before has there been a real opportunity to discover its underground potential. From here starts a long path of change for our country and we are committed to achieve the most favorable results through cooperation with companies of world excellence, but above all to be transparent and communicate with the Albanians in everything, since all these assets they belong to the people and will be in their function through a Sovereign Fund, following the best international practices. The decade ahead of us will mark a new, prosperous period for our country, a new period for every child, girl and boy, man and woman who have believed and have never given up believing,- said Balluku.
