Six candidates have been selected to compete in the primaries of the "Foltor" Democratic Party for candidate of the Municipality of Kukës.

In total, there were 10 candidacies, but only 6 of them filled out the form. They are: Ardian Elezi, Arif Rexhmati, Emri Vata, Gëzim Shehu, Uran Cengu and Ylber Zeneli.

All six candidates will face each other in the "Primaries" on August 27, and the one who will receive the support of the Democrats of Kukes, will compete for the City Hall.

Notice of "Reestablishment":

The DPSH primaries for the partial local elections for the Kukes Municipality will be held on August 27. The branch proposed 10 candidacies, 6 have completed the form.

The leadership of the Democratic Party in its meeting for the organization of the election process for the Primary for the partial elections of September 24, 2023 in the Municipality of Kukës, decided:

1. The primaries will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023;

2. The candidates of the primaries will be according to the list approved by the Presidency in the annex attached to this decision:

Based on the decree of the President of August 11, 2023 for the announcement of partial elections for the Municipality of Kukes, on August 16, the CEC has determined the procedural deadlines that must be followed by political parties for the registration of elections.

Based on these deadlines and in accordance with the DPSH statute and decision no. 38 dated 01.10.2022 of the National Council for Primaries, we are obliged to organize the primaries as soon as possible.

The Kukës branch, after the meeting of the Presidency held with the political leader of the district on August 16, 2023, has collected the candidacies for the primaries for the local elections on September 24, 2023.

The branch has brought 10 proposals which have been contacted by the Organizational Secretariat and invited to complete the candidacy documentation for the Primaries.

Until today, in the deadline for the acceptance of documentation, 6 candidates have filled out the forms, of which 5 were proposed by the branch and one is a self-proposal.

Attached is the summary of the candidates who have completed the documentation and the draft decision proposed today to the Presidency of the PDSH.
