"Fredi Beleri has a dark past", so says another Greek writer, who through an article has analyzed the situation in which the diplomatic relationship between Albania and Greece is, because of Fredi Beleri.
He says that Beleri cannot be innocent just because he is Greek and Rama cannot be charged with guilt just because he is Albanian.
He writes that Greece should give up the role of a figurehead and a permanent sufferer.
His irony characterizes every line, among which he says that if Greece's foreign policy is defined by people like Fredi Beleri, diplomats should be thrown into the Aegean Sea.
Writing by Dimitris Danikas:
Well, that man is amber. Beyond any doubt. Fredi Beleri, what do you say now? Innocent and unblemished. Like an uncut virgin?
And everything that happens in Himara of Greek-speaking Albania is planned by the miserable, anti-Greek and Turkophile Edi Rama.
And that's how we go. With such stupidity of epic proportions, measured by the stupidity meter of the famous and invincible Hellenophrenia. I mean, Fredi Beleri is the best. And the evil Edi Rama. And why is Fredi Beller the best? Because it says it is Greek. And why is Edi Rama evil? Because he is Albanian.
In short, every Greek is good and every Albanian is bad. I fall flat, squirm with incessant and deafening laughter. Here I don't put my hand in the fire even for my closest relatives. Nor, the word falls, for myself. And will I continue to support, with fanaticism, a certain Fredi Beleri because he was voted as the mayor of Himara? We are not in doubt.
Let me say the same thing about most of the mayors in the entire Greek territory. Let it be proven a disgusting reality. That is, the most corrupt "Part" of the administration is the "privilege" of self-government! Dozens of mayors are swimming in corruption and confusion. What do I remember before? The latest, related to the beaches. The situation is a nightmare.
And why did Kostas Bakojanis consider it an obligation to go to Himara to defend the rights of a mayor accused of involvement? Maybe you have concrete information? Perhaps he has in his hands strong evidence of the innocence and "beyond any doubt" of Fredi Beller?
My dubious answer is one: because the publicity is great. Because a bunch of brainless fellow citizens and fanatics rushed to vent their anger against Albania. Because the name "Albania" leads to the mafia, thieves and rapists. And because this topic sells like crazy. That is to say, with the help and blessing of Fredi Beleri, I can extract votes from other brainless people who walk together with Ilia Kasidiar.
For the case of Fredi Beleri. And for speculation. And about latent racism. And for publicity. And for hunting votes among the crowd of "Spartans" and other strange and dangerous "tribes". And for free heroism. And for the demonstration of the strength of "great" Greece against "underdeveloped" and "backward" Albania
If this is called serious foreign policy, then I am the descendant of one Julian Robert Oppenheimer.
Greece must emerge as a "superpower" of the Balkans. Greece can claim this role only with economic development and momentum. Greece should devote itself to friendly attacks. Greece must give up the role of a figurehead and a permanent sufferer, two incurable "charismas" that not only undermine but also appropriate it.
If our foreign policy, especially now with the Sultan of Turkey watching, is determined by people like Freddy Beleri. If we take the role of the protector with the sole criterion of his Hellenism. And if we "clash" with the other sap, Edi Rama, instead of surrounding him with friendly attacks and economic facilities towards Albania, then everyone in the diplomatic corps who believe this should throw their diplomas into the Aegean Sea.
And finally, I copy a relevant position of Nikos Ksidakis, who was previously Alternate Foreign Minister: "Athens and Tirana know the role of Beler. He is not an innocent man, he has a political history and a dark history. This story should have been cleared up many months ago. And not to become a diplomatic thorn in the not so good relations between Athens and Tirana"
Dear friends, foreign policy is not synonymous with ethnopatriotic breakfasts and wreaths that usually end up boomeranging. Neither Fred nor Beleri. Elementary seriousness!
