The Ethics Secretariat will meet this Monday at 2:00 PM to make a decision regarding the Socialists' request to expel the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, from Parliament for up to 60 days.

The Socialist Party (SP) on Friday sent an official request demanding Berisha's expulsion from the Parliament following his statements against EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato. They described these statements as an attack on Gonzato and said that Berisha must be held accountable.

The Ethics Secretariat will also review the Democratic Party's request for the expulsion of Taulant Balla. In the request, the DP states that Balla insulted and used threatening language towards opposition MPs.
