Government meeting / 10 thousand lends for the end-of-year holidays for police

Each employee of the State Police of the executing role will receive a reward of 10 thousand ALL.

The decision was made at the last meeting of the Council of Ministers this year.

Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha said the government appreciated the role of the State Police for increasing security under SHQIPËRIA2030 vision. Part of this vision is significant investments in technology, infrastructure and logistics.

"With today's decision, state police officers are included in the category of employees who receive rewards for the holidays of the year.

Police officers in cooperation with other authorities have scored important results, guaranteeing more security and a quiet tourist season.

This award is also an incentive to continue working with the same dedication, for further improvement of the standards of service to citizens.

I am convinced that with the support of the Government and the commitment of its effectiveness, the State Police will continue to be a successful example of strength and credibility in the service of the citizens, because the coming year will confront us with other challenges, such as the organization of free and democratic elections, where the Ministry of Interior and the Police have a key role, but also other challenges against organized crime and illegality in the country," Hoxha said.
