After more than 10 years and 433 million euros, the Great Ring of Tirana opens

The Great Ring of Tyranny

After more than 10 years and 433 million euros invested, the Great Ring of Tirana has been opened for circulation. The opening ceremony was attended by Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The Great Ring has a length of 28.7 kilometers, several overpasses and tunnels, two of which are opened today for the circulation of vehicles in the former "Eagle" round-up area.

This axis at a permitted speed of 90 kph is expected to ease traffic within the capital.
