The Democratic Party led by Sali Berisha announced today the new leadership team of the party and in the statement given by the blue headquarters the closing of the electoral processes was emphasized. "A triumph of democracy and free vote." - was one of the sentences during the statement given.

However, in the list of names of the "new" team, a post was still run by an old name. It is about the partner organization of the Democratic Party, "Democratic League of Albanian Women", in which Albana Vokshi is still the leader.

The latter was not elected by vote, but was appointed as chairwoman of the LDGSH in 2009 by the then chairman Sali Berisha, and it seems that the latter's return to the helm of the party is keeping her again as chairwoman of the LDGSH.

Shortly after the start of the clash, in November last year, former DP leader Lulzim Basha opened the race to replace Vokshi as chair of the women's forum and set up a team of 10 Democratic women, led by Grida Duma. Meetings at the base started, but the process disappeared along the way.

 At the time, Vokshi accused Basha of making a ridiculous decision, as the LDGSH had its own statute and could not announce the mayoral election.

But, it seems that the Democratic League of Albanian Women, even though it has an appointed president and who has been in charge of it for more than a decade, does not intend to announce new elections for several years.

This is implied, because in the internal elections organized by the party, Albana Vokshi was not elected and did not take the trouble to run either for a member of the Presidency, or for vice president or for the direction of any secretariat. It seems that she is satisfied at the head of LDGSH and it seems that she will not leave the "chair" of the women's forum for several years and as part of the DP Presidency claims to be part through this post.

The statement given by the blue headquarters was held by Albana Vokshi where she stated that returning to the vote is the first step towards victory, but we still do not know when the MP will give the opportunity to Democratic women to elect the chairwoman of their forum.

What is worth mentioning is the fact that the list of the new team of the Democratic Party did not mention the other partner organization of this party, the Youth Forum of the DP, where the situation seems similar.

However, unlike Vokshi, Belind Këlliçi ran for a member of the Presidency and for party vice-president, where he managed to win only in the first place. Based on the latter, but also on the fact that the FRPD is not mentioned in the list of the new leading team of the Democratic Party, I leave the impression that Belind Këlliçi will soon start the elections so that the youth forum of the Democratic Party has a new chairman, as he is beyond deadlines.
