" Today we listened to people who deserve what they have been entrusted with ", said Socialist MP Pandeli Majko from the floor of the Assembly where today the leaders of the New Justice institutions reported on the work done in 2022.

Majko stated that today's reporters in the Assembly are representatives of public hope for the implementation of the law, starting from the Parliament hall itself.

He recalled that the majority has "tried the stick of the new justice on its back", not hiding the disappointment that this justice has so far only looked to the left.

"Don't expect me to tell them that I feel good when I see representatives of leftist politics in prison. The truth is that I feel bad. But I feel worse when I am faced with the question of whether in this country only leftists break the law?", said Majko.

The socialist deputy asked the High Council of Prosecution not to return to the traditions of the former High Council of Justice and that the relationship with the General Prosecutor should not be like that of a divorced couple.

Meanwhile, regarding the work of SPAK, Majko said that he supports the investigation launched within the Special structure for the release of investigative secrets.
