The American embassy also reacted to the visit of former president Bill Clinton to Tirana.  

In a post on social networks, the American embassy welcomes the 42nd president of the United States of America, while emphasizing that this visit is a significant moment in the friendship between the two countries.

"Welcome to Tirana, President Clinton! The former president's first visit to Albania is a significant moment in the stable friendship between our countries", writes the embassy.

The plane carrying the former head of the White House landed on Rinas's plane around 3:20 p.m. President Clinton was received by Prime Minister Edi Rama himself, with whom he traveled to Tirana, where the state ceremony organized in his honor will take place around 19:00.

At 19:25, the ceremony honoring the 42nd President of the USA, Bill Clinton, with the "Star of Appreciation for Public Achievements" will take place, which will be followed by the President's speech.

The State Police has undertaken a plan of measures and has suspended for several hours traffic on some road axes to ensure the visit of the former American president.
