Berisha addressed citizens today, inviting them to the protest on December 22, but also beyond, in order to overthrow the 'Rama' government from power.
"The protest on Monday is the great beginning of the season, which only stops with the departure of Edi Rama. We are protesting on Monday to mark the beginning of the popular revolt for the departure of Edi Rama," said Berisha.
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that the leader of the "Albania Becomes" party, Adriatik Lapaj, was invited to be present at the protest organized by the DP, but has chosen to hold a separate protest with his party.
Berisha stressed that he has publicly supported Lapaj on several occasions and congratulated him for the protests he has organized. According to him, Lapaj represents a political force and his protest activities are based on the party he leads.
"I have publicly supported him not once, but several times and I have congratulated Lapaj for his protest. Of course, he represents a political party and bases the protest on his party," Berisha said.
He announced that the Democratic Party has already begun its weekly protests in front of the Prime Minister's Office, while another protest has also taken place in Parliament.
"On the 22nd, the DP, the electorate, its supporters and allies will be in the square," Berisha declared. In the end, he explained that Lapaj was invited not only to participate in the DP protest, but also to deliver his speech, but according to Berisha, he had programmed the protest of the party he leads.
