The Assembly gives the green light for new ministers on Monday!

Monday special plenary session. Legislators will vote on Begay's decrees. 

The new ministers, chosen by Edi Rama in the Assembly of the Socialist Party, will go through the next round on Monday, to then officially take over the management of the departments entrusted to them.

At 14:00, the Assembly will meet in a special session to vote for the new ministers, already decreed by President Bajram Begaj.

After the vote of confidence in the Assembly and the oath in the Presidency, some new ministers will start work with emergency duties. The new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, will have to be in New York on September 14, to lead the UN Security Council meeting, where Albania holds the presidency.

Edi Rama chose to change the team this new political season, bringing new names to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Health, Agriculture and bringing back another cabinet without a portfolio, that of Local Government.

In addition to the cabinet, Edi Rama has decided to reformat the party by changing the entire secretariat. However, the new names of this structure will receive the final vote at the end of October, when the Congress of the Socialist Party is expected to take place.
