The National Council of the Democratic Party, convened by Lulzim Basha, chose today the senior management forums, the Presidency and the heads of the Secretariats. Enkelejd Alibeja was elected General Secretary instead of Gazmend Bardhi.

Meanwhile, four DP vice-presidents have been elected. Flutura Açka, Kreshnik Çollaku, Orjola Pampuri and Roland Bejko. One of them will also hold the position of chairman of the DP parliamentary group, which Basha will delegate to him. The council also voted for the new presidency, where 15 out of 30 names were selected.

"When the noise of the crash becomes louder than the voice of reason, we all lose." This was the message of Lulzim Basha before the National Council of the Democratic Party, which he asked to format the leadership forums, to give a new impetus to the alternative that the opposition should present to the government. In order to build the future, we must rebuild the party, Basha asserted, ending a long cycle of intrigues and clashes, as he said.
