Sali Berisha stood by the argument that the Democratic Party does not lobby in the US, but receives a service from the foundation and the signature on the contract between the parties was placed by Secretary Flamur Noka for the service that the entity receives.

Asked about this consultancy contract, he said:

"Now it is not between the DP and the company. It is between the foundation and this depends on the foundation. As for the question of whether this service would continue after the May 11 elections, the head of the blue headquarters stated that no decision has been made and that further clarification will be provided.
