Today, the Special Court held a preliminary hearing against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
But a few minutes later, the session was postponed to December 16, at 11:00. Berisha, through his lawyer, had requested the dismissal of the case brought against him.
The head of the opposition has been under house arrest since December 30 of last year as part of the investigation into the privatization of the former Partizani complex.
Berisha was charged and charged with "passive corruption committed in collaboration" on September 11 of last year. Likewise, his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, was taken as a defendant by SPAK and is accused of the same criminal offense.
