The name Vata, the opposition candidate

The name Vata will be the opposition's candidate for mayor for the September 24 elections in Kukës.

Early elections in Kukës are held after the dismissal of Safet Gjic , elected from among the socialists. He is being investigated for passive corruption after the scandal of an intimate video with Alma Kaçi .

Today, Vata was invited to the show " Breaking" on Top News , where he spoke about his promises to the citizens of Kuksia.

The candidate of the coalition " We win together " told "Breaking " that he will be the chief servant of the citizens of Kukës and not their leader.

Vata: I enjoy the support of the democrats of Kukes, on May 14 there was a massacre which was related to crime. We are running the campaign on the positive side, so that the municipality is as close as possible to the citizens. Kukësi is a right-wing electorate, there is no chance for SP to win our city.

The name Vata is also known as the leader of the operation that arrested Klement Balili for the first time in 2006. He was detained together with two policemen of the Saranda Police Station, during an attempt to traffic an amount of 750 kg of cannabis to Greece.

Në atë kohë, i ashtuquajturi “Eskobari i Ballkanit” bëri pak muaj burg, për t’u rikthyer në shënjestrën e drejtësisë sërish në vitin 2016.

Ish-drejtuesi i lartë i Policisë, Emri Vata,  në vitin 2006 drejtonte edhe operacionin ku Balili u vu në pranga.

Kujtojmë se për këto zgjedhje forcat politike kanë pasur afat deri me datë 1 shtator për t'u regjistruar në KQZ si subjekte zgjedhore, ndërsa kandidatët jo më vonë se data 8 shtator.

Tashmë siç dihet opozita do të shkojë e përçarë edhe në zgjedhjet e pjesshme për Bashkinë e Kukësit, duke e ndarë votën mes dy kandidatëve. PD zyrtare ka kohë deri të premten në darkë për të vendosur nëse do të nxjerrë kandidat apo jo.
