The citizens of Kosovo have also spent this weekend in the direction of Albania, without checks at the border points.

Prime Minister Edi Rama informed through a post on social networks that the agreement between the two countries will now be in force throughout the year.

"The first holidays without borders between Albania and Kosovo, and so from now on, every year and for the whole year", writes Rama on Facebook.

At the joint meeting of the governments of Albania and Kosovo, held on June 20 in Prsithina, 19 agreements were signed.

One of them was the removal of border controls on weekends and public holidays, for citizens of Kosovo traveling to Albania, for the period from June 1 to September 30.
