Ilir Beqaj rejects Benet Beci's mandate as SP deputy in Shkodër

The former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj seems to have rejected Benet Beci's mandate as a deputy of the Socialist Party in Shkodër.

Some media write that Ilir Beqaj has submitted his negative answer to the Central Election Commission, while Beqaj himself has not made any public reaction.

According to the list of results for 2021, after Beqaja, the mandate should go to Frrok Gjin.

Benet Beci's name as a candidate for the May 14 elections was proposed by Damian Gjiknuri on February 28 of this year. Beci welcomed this offer and left his mandate as a deputy, to become part of the electoral race to take over the leadership of the Shkodra municipality.
