The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, speaking to journalists after the ministerial meeting of foreign ministers of the Berlin Process in Tirana, emphasized the priority of Kosovo's institutions to strengthen security in the country, while adding that if the international community does not sanction Serbia, the continuation of the dialogue is difficult.
"It is very important to understand the message that Serbia has sent to us and the international community and to take the necessary measures. Serbia behaves like a mini Russia which treats each of its neighboring states in the way that it thinks they have the right, that they should be returned to the Serbian state. The main priority of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo is security. We need to make sure that the weaponry we find is most of the weaponry. We found weapons in cars, buildings, in the houses of the terrorists who carried out the attack.
If the international community lets Serbia pass without consequences, then we find it impossible to observe the negotiations. Safety should be a priority, the dialogue process should not be about taking photos, but should be designed to produce success. With a dialogue partner at the table, at the same time training terrorists to attack our Republic, it is very difficult for us to sit down. It is clear that without sanctioning Serbia, it has nothing to learn. The citizens of Serbia will find it difficult to raise their voice to discipline their government for demands", said the Foreign Minister of Kosovo.
