Fatmir Mediu

The head of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, continues to call for the opposition to come up with a single candidate in the May 14 local elections.

Although the two PD factions have clearly stated that they will come up with separate candidates, according to Mediu, this serves the power of Edi Rama.

He has posted a video on social networks from his meetings and says that every opposition political party should come up with its own list of councilors, where according to him, all of them should be included in the electoral staffs of the candidates.

Full post :

The opposition must come up with a single candidate in the municipal elections.
Every excuse to come out with more than 1 candidate serves the power of Edi Rames.
Each opposition political party must come up with its own list of advisors.
All candidates for mayor must include in their electoral staffs all councilors of opposition political subjects. Every vote for councilors must be a vote for the candidate.
The opposition must build an agreement within itself, where the councilors for the municipal councils are the ones who get the most votes.
The right without competition has no value.
