Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to the head of the PD parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, after the latter asked him if he feels responsible for what his predecessors did during the communist period.

Rama stated that his father had never been a member of the Central Committee and that he had never lived on the block. The Prime Minister further addressed the Democrats in the parliament that "Enver Hoxha is being kept alive through you".

"I have never lived in Bllok. I had a house like everyone else. My father has never been a member of the Central Committee. You who speak this language are with the ideology of Enver Hoxha.

Enver Hoxha is alive today only through you. Through the way you attack the opponent just like him. Except for the fact that you end up not putting the bullet or putting it in jail. I do not expect your respect.

I have enough respect from those who when they came out of prison after many years had no connection with you but were your opposite because they were the opposite of Enver Hoxha. Enver Hoxha's party made many of you like yourself. Introduce hatred for the other. This is not the time of Enver Hoxha ",  declared Rama.
