The former commanding head of the DP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has responded to the accusations of the former prime minister Sali Berisha that the prime minister is holding him hostage with his criminal brother Taulant Alibeaj, where he claims that the latter was arrested in 2016 in Germany.
In a television interview, Alibeaj said that the accusations made by Berisha are accusations made by Saimir Tahiri and Edi Rama in 2016, a time when, according to him, Alibeaj was in a position where he often had to make denunciations that could affect some interests.
He added that if in those years Berisha also made the same denunciations, today he uses the accusations of political opponents against him, because, as Alibeaj says, "he lacks the imagination to invent".
"These accusations were first fabricated in 2016 by Saimir Tahiri together with police director Haki Çako. Which if you remember, it was no surprise to me that the Socialite Party, Rilindja, could fabricate such accusations. At that time, I was the director of the Department of Order and Security in the Democratic Party, and it was my "burden" to make denunciations, denunciations that Mr. Berisha also made. The biggest surprise is that today the accusations from the mouths of Saimir Tahir and Rama are taken and used by Sali Berisha, miserable in the lack of imagination to invent. I did not imagine that Beisha would take as a basis the accusations against my brother made by a prisoner" , - said Enkelejd Alibeaj.
The former commanding leader of the DP also spoke about Berisha's accusations, that the latter received 220 thousand euros from Rama.
"It is good to clarify, for him to tell me the cases when this happened. I am against Edi Rama on all points. I am against the philosophy of Rama, Berisha and Meta" , said Enkelejd Alibeaj.
