During his speech at the 32nd anniversary of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama did not fail to mention the situation in the north of Kosovo.
Rama said that the draft proposed by him for the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in the north of Kosovo has been well received by the allies, while according to him, the objections of Pristina and Belgrade are not logical as long as they do not know the content yet
As for the relationship with Kurti, Rama said that they both have the same goals, but admitted that their paths are always more and more separate to achieve this goal.
"I am glad that the effort to make a concrete contribution to the dialogue has been well received by the allies. While those who have opposed it, without knowing the content, as in Pristina and Belgrade, saying that they do not want to hear about a proposal from Albania, I say two things. First, those who talk like this are still living with communism in their heads when politics was about who said it and not what they said.
Second, this region is both ours and some others'. If it suits them better to still play wars while neither side nor the other can open one to the other, not a war but not a shot that crosses the borders because America and NATO are there. Allies are running out of patience. I tell them that we are not at all interested in war games but we are against that war.
My goal and that of the Prime Minister of Kosovo are exactly the same, but we do not see the ways to achieve that goal the same, even more and more different, especially recently. To me the collision course with our allies is a silly adventure for all its own futility," said Rama .
