We need a new political project that goes beyond the Socialist Party. This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said during his speech at the 32nd anniversary event of the Socialist Party, which is being held at the Palace of Congresses.

Rama said that the SP is celebrating its 32nd anniversary with a spectacular victory, referring to the one on May 14, while there were also attacks on the duo Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta, as well as thanks to the democrats who did not vote for them.

The chief socialist further added that we must project the future starting from ourselves, because otherwise they will not be able to escape the slap of the citizens if they do not work. For Prime Minister Rama, the priority of the priority should be humanity.

"32 years ago SP came to life, today we celebrate this marked day of our political family with the most spectacular victory of these 32 years where Albanians gave the mandate to govern in 54 municipalities and to take care of more than 95 % of inhabitants. The word 'thank you' will never be enough for the trust that the girls and boys of this country gave us. From democratic Shkodra to socialist Vlora. The entire cup of gratitude in all of Albania cannot be enough, where now only the icing on the cake is left, Tropoja, the municipality where only 4 years were enough for us to do what others cannot do in 32 years. Tropojans voted for their own good, for cleanliness, peace and development in their community. They voted for a reborn Tropoja that will only continue forward through agritourism. That's how the people of Shkodra voted,

This is also thanks to many right-wingers who abandoned the shadow coalition by not going to the polls at all. Thanks also to those who distanced themselves from the two main figures, one more caught than the other by their troubles with the government and America. We almost touched the quota of 800 thousand votes, the highest result ever. We are the first force in the councils of 57 municipalities. Our opponents hit their lowest historical quota since the period when you entrusted me with the leadership of the SP.

Pa e futur thellë gozhdë në kokë sot që na e kanë dhënë tërë këtë besim të vërtetën se shqiptarët nuk kanë sesi të jenë të kënaqur me ne, ne s’do u shpëtojmë shuplakës së tyre nesër kur të na kërkojnë që të na votojnë përsëri. Duhet të projektojeni me të ardhmen duke e nisur reflektimin dhe punë nga vetja siç kemi bërë pas çdo zgjedhje, kur të tjerët kanë humbur dhe kanë bërtitur fitore. Sot ne kemi nevojë për një fillim të ri, për një projekt të ri politik dhe organizativ. Na duhet të shkojmë përtej PS-së ku të krijojmë një hapësirë të re politike dhe sociale. Duhet të hapim rrugë të reja për të bashkua në një komunitet të ri politik anëtarët, simpatizantët dhe qytetarët e interesuar të ecim para.  Prioriteti i prioritetit të qeverisjes vendore do të jetë njerzillëku. Qytetarët janë në pritje të diçkaje, të cilën fati dhe nderi ynë e kërkon prej nesh."- said Rama.
