Gazment Bardhit has called an urgent meeting of the DP Group after Ervin Salianji was sentenced to 1 year in prison .

The emergency meeting of the DP Parliamentary Group will take place at the headquarters of the Democratic Party .

Bardhi has requested that the entire Group be present. The emergency meeting will take place after the Court of Appeal took the decision on the 1-year prison sentence of MP Salianji.

The black squads upheld the decision of the first instance, while the Democratic legislator declared that this is a political punishment.

Salianji said that despite this decision, he will continue the campaign, even as he said, "I will do it from prison".

"I am honored, I have a medal that shines throughout my political career. We will discuss again to get to the bottom of the process.  All this is done before the elections. It is done because of the problems they have. I will be in an extraordinary campaign, I am not the first to do work. I am the first political prisoner after 34 years. I will do it from prison", said the DP deputy.

Democratic MP Salianji warned that he will follow other legal steps.
