Discriminatory statements against Albanians, Britain softens its tone: We are
Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of Britain

After Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements that Great Britain should not discriminate against Albanians but work to strengthen its borders against illegal immigration, the British Prime Minister's office, Rishi Sunak, reacted.

The spokeswoman of Sunak said that Britain has a strong relationship with Albania and is grateful to our country for the work done to combat human trafficking.

" We want to continue doing everything we can with international partners to break the business model of human traffickers and we are grateful to Albania for the work it does with us in this direction ," the reaction says.

Even the climate minister in Great Britain tried to repair relations as he expressed the government's "gratitude" for Albania.

" I am grateful for the work we are doing with the Albanians. They have sent senior police officers to speed up processing and we have an expedited system to return Albanians if they turn out to be non-legitimate asylum seekers.
"So we are trying to work in cooperation. But it is clear that there is pressure... it can lead to language, which is sometimes unfortunate, and it is worth noting our gratitude to the Albanian government for their cooperation in working to resolve this. "- he told Sky news.
