The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that Edi Rama demanded 10 million euros in bribes from the former owner of RTV Ora, Ylli Ndroqi.
He said on the show "Drejt" on RTV Ora that Rama made this request over the phone, which Berisha emphasized that he is aware of, and Ylli Ndroqi rejected this request, which then led to the clash.
Berisha : In the relationship between the owner of this television and Edi Rama, I know this: Rama claimed a bribe of 10 million euros in a phone call for a business, and the owner replied that it does not happen. I have called on Ndroqi to make this public. I was informed about this almost in real time, 1 or 2 days after the event. And I have many doubts that this is where the fight started.
I have been told other passages of this conversation. The one who came and told me this, he considered it a great misfortune that the prime minister claimed too much. He has transformed the decision of the court of first instance into an executive title. Every country has a 3-level system, while this one only has a first-level decision.
