The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in the weekly meeting with journalists, called on the media not to call Prime Minister Edi Rama to the studio.
Berisha warned that if this happens, supporters of the Democratic Party will protest in front of every television.
According to the former prime minister, Rama has the duty to give explanations in the Parliament and not in the television studio.
"He has lost his mind and is looking like a mouse to escape behind any kind of absurdity and hide. He doesn't go, he doesn't come to the parliament to be confronted, but he goes to the studio. I urge you journalists not to accept in the studio a man who violates the laws of the country. Do not add the studios to the refuge of this sinner that Albania has ever seen. I guarantee you that the most powerful protests will be staged in front of the televisions, flame after flame.
Wherever he goes, yesterday was the beginning, but wherever he steps, we will protest all the time. We are not happy, this is not accepted. It's like taking a criminal who doesn't go to justice in the studio. What should you give this space, Media call, no space, get boycotted. He is boycotting the parliament and the government, why should he come and take the time of the citizens. The airwaves belong to the public, not to television. Have mercy on the public", said Berisha.
Meanwhile, we remember that yesterday evening Prime Minister Edi Rama was invited to the "Opinion" show. It was the FRPD youth who blocked the road in front of the television premises, causing Prime Minister Rama to enter the studio from the back entrance of the television.
