Accusations against Ahmatej, Rama: I'm very sorry, I can't help him

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke tonight about the corruption allegations against former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.

Rama said that if these accusations turn out to be true, Ahmetaj must bear personal responsibility and that he cannot help him.

Rama emphasized once again that the SP does not protect any official involved in corruption.

"When I started the fight for justice reform, I believed in that and I knew very well what it means to pave the way for justice to have a weapon in its hand and strike left and right. I knew it, I said it, and I stand by it. When these cases are counted, I am not happy that from a human point of view I had a relationship with these people. But this is what I've been looking for. Whoever steps where they shouldn't answer, that's what I've been looking for. I have always said that we are a team, whoever makes a mistake because his head stinks, he will prove himself later. He was my collaborator, I worked with him for a long time. If what comes out is true, I'm very sorry, but I can't help it", said Rama in the show "Opinion".
