In the conversation with the journalists this Friday, the president of the DP, Sali Berisha, dwelled on the case of the former FBI official, McGonigal and the accusations against Edi Rama.

He said that "every Albanian knows clearly that this prime minister is a disgrace, he is the black face of this country and will remain so in the history of Albanian-American relations".

Berisha warned of protests, stressing that PD will lead the democratic revolution and the overthrow of this regime with a powerful popular movement

"The most concrete accusations against McGonigal are in the Albanian file. Every Albanian is clear that this prime minister is a disgrace, is the black face of this country and will remain so in the history of Albanian-American relations.

Therefore, as I have stated, I repeat once again the determination of the DP to lead the democratic revolution and the overthrow of this regime with a powerful popular movement never seen in Albania.

DP will establish a parliamentary investigative commission with the aim of close cooperation with the US authorities for clarifying every detail of this affair that has shocked the US, NATO and the entire free world.

DP is collecting and will send all the information that in flagrant violation of the sanctions against his friend, the oligarch Putin, Deripaska has continued his activity undisturbed for four years from the moment of the imposition of sanctions, from 2018 to 2022, of undisturbed. With Charles McGonigal's lobbying or not, this should be clarified by US justice. But we are determined to make our contribution" , said Berisha.
