As he presented his government program, Sali Berisha listed the impact it will have on the lives of Albanians.
Berisha committed to zero tolerance towards corruption, adding that there will be a general audit that will return all stolen assets to Albanians.
"I promise that the government will impose the lowest taxes in the world on them so that you, with your own efforts, can prosper, prosper, and become rich. There is no country as rich as Albania. There is no 28 thousand km2 with so much wealth. Today they are exploited by Rama and his oligarchs just like in the colonial system. Tomorrow they will turn into wealth for you, for Great Albania. God comes home when we clean it up.
"Zero tolerance towards corruption will be our motto. The working man has no fiercer enemy than the corruption of government officials. It kills the opportunities of young people, it brings crime and insecurity, destitution and poverty. Zero tolerance towards the waste of their money. I give my word that an audit of the narco-state will return hundreds of millions of stolen euros. Criminals wherever they are will be brought before the law and with them the criminal ministers," Berisha said at the opening rally of the opposition's electoral campaign.
During his speech, Berisha warned Prime Minister Edi Rama that if he affects the votes of Albanians, " there will be no place on earth to live."
He also asked the prime minister to resign by vote on May 11, as according to Berisha, he has caused the greatest damage to Albania and Albanians.
"A week across Europe, Edi Rama was nailed, Narkoshteti was nailed. The solemn promise that Albanians will vote freely. And I say to Edi Rama 'don't touch the vote, because you will absolutely have no place on earth. Leave with your vote because you have done great harm to this country.
"It is leaving in shame as the greatest evil after Enver Hoxha in the history of Albanians. I greet all the socialists who have decided to join us. I greet all the Albanians so that we can turn the Albania of pain into a peaceful Albania, the Albania of disappointment into an Albania of trust," said Berisha, closing the rally.
