Amidst the cheers of thousands of attendees, Sali Berisha ascended the podium set up to open the Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition campaign with tears in his eyes.

As he thanked the citizens who supported him, the candidates for MP, but also the campaign manager of the Democratic Party and the Alliance for a Greater Albania, Chris LaCivita, Berisha appeared with tears in his eyes.

"Good evening, you wonderful people who have made this the most beautiful square in Europe.

Sincere greetings to the young people of the Democratic Party, our national pride. Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Chris La Civita, chairman of the Republican Party Committee, architect of the most extraordinary comeback, the return of President Donald Trump.

"I have given many speeches in my life, but today I am more excited than ever ," said Berisha.

Berisha harshly criticized Prime Minister Edi Rama, accusing him of connections with dubious figures, such as former Minister Beqaj and Mayor Veliaj. His speech was filled with messages of unity and commitment to a better Albania.

"Great Albania is the Albania of your soul, it is the Albania of your love for it, of love for family and the ideals of freedom. The other side is with sinful patrons. Imagine Rama who has Beqaj on his side, Veliaj, he has McGonigal on his side. Rama, he has a hard time tonight," said Berisha.
