Sali Berisha

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a press conference, stated that Montenegro had a pension 30% lower than Albania, while now, after 12 years, it is 280% higher than in our country.

And this, according to the DP leader, happened because of the Montenegrin government's policies towards pensioners.

Excerpt from the speech of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha:

I am here to invite every Albanian citizen to ask themselves this question today: How is it possible that a pensioner in Montenegro, who in 2013 was paid at least 20-30 percent less than a pensioner in Albania, today receives an average pension of 450 euros, or 280 percent more than a pensioner in Albania.

A pensioner in Serbia with the same conditions in 2013, today receives an average pension of 440 euros, 270 percent more than an Albanian pensioner.

A pensioner in North Macedonia who used to receive 20-30 percent less than an Albanian pensioner, today receives 405 euros or 250 percent more than an Albanian pensioner as an average pension.

Albania has an average pension of 160 thousand lek.

Bosnia and Herzegovina today receives an average pension of 340 euros, or 210 percent more than a pensioner in Albania.

Kosovo had an average pension of 190 euros and increased this pension by 20 percent a month ago.

If you ask this question a thousand times, if you consider the incomparable wealth of Albania compared to these countries, if you consider the fact that in Albania pensions were paid in 2013, 20 to 30 percent more than in these countries, then you understand that we are dealing with an unforgivable, inhuman discrimination of this stratum, which has poured all its energies into retirement age, has created all the material goods of the country up to that age, after which it is treated with the pension that the German government granted to dogs kept in German families, 130 euros. And 90 or 100 euros for cats, this is true.

So, the more we ask this question, the more we will come to understand this government's insane abuse of national income.

To think that in a budget of 8.2 billion euros, only 16 million euros are left for this group, without a second thought, you are doing nothing but deliberately deciding to leave them at the mercy of fate, without medicine because they cannot afford it, but also without food.
