The Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has started this new year by appearing at an event organized on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the newspaper Democratic Revival.

In his address, Basha promised that with his governing programme he would enable the liberation of the media as well as the creation of mechanisms that provide economic freedom and security for media workers.

"My first pledge is that the DP with the presentation of the governing program will liberate the media. The second pledge is to create mechanisms that provide economic freedom and security for media workers. Let's do our best to build a new hope and a new way of communicating," Basha said.

The DP leader, Basha, has stated that this year he will start political action by multiplying public appearances, denouncing the government, and becoming more active in political life.

Like the DP, the media body of this political force has been divided into "RD news" which is managed by sali Berisha's group and "Democratic Renaissance" which is managed by the Basha group.
