Democratic MP Agron Shehaj has denounced the granting of strategic investor status by the Rama government to a newly created company that benefits from public land in the center of Tirana.
According to the government, the strategic investor selected without competition, "Adriatic Resorts SHA" will invest about 200 million euros to build a hotel and casino.
The main shareholders with 40% of the company are an American consultant and an Albanian-American citizen with an intermediary profession.
Shehaj says the other owners of the company are hiding, raising suspicions that it is the same scheme with fictitious or hidden owners to cover up the theft of public money and property.

According to the government, the strategic investor selected without competition, "Adriatic Resorts SHA" will invest about 200 million euros to build a hotel and casino.

However, the main shareholders who have about 40% of this company are an American citizen with a consulting profession, Steven Gallaway, and an Albanian-American with a broker profession, Engjell Pasha.
These two control the company in Tirana through three other chain companies in England and the USA, one of which was created and suspended the next day.
While the other owners of the company are hidden.
As in the case of the resort of Xhacka, the concession of Beqaj, the incinerator of Veliaj and many others, schemes with fictitious or hidden owners are used to cover the theft of money and public property.
Albania needs a non-corrupt government!", writes Shehaj.
