Before the serious event of about three weeks ago in the prison of Peqin, where the prisoner Sokol Mjacaj killed with a firearm the life sentence prisoner Arben Lleshi, another serious event has tarnished the prisons, the institution that constitutes one of the most important sectors in terms of national security.

Yesterday at noon, the attempt of the serial killer Dan Hutra to escape from the Fier prison was discovered. If the "killer of women" would achieve his goal, he would turn into a great danger for many citizens.

Hutra had managed to cut through a piece of wire one of the bars of the window and was finishing the second, in collaboration with three other prisoners, common thieves.

Without going into deep analysis, some questions naturally arise: How is it possible for a high-risk murderer to stay in a cell with ordinary thieves, even in a detention cell?

How were cutting tools introduced into Hutra's cell, are routine checks carried out in prisons?

"Prohibited items, mobile phones and drugs are brought in all the time. The prison has a tolerance for the introduction of dangerous items", said the journalist of the chronicle Sokol Bregu.

Why is no one responsible for the total failure of the management of this institution?

If in the case of Peqin, the Ministry washed its hands by punishing the guards on duty, who had the bad luck to be at work that day, this time someone must be held responsible. But not ordinary employees! The responsibility should go further, to the leaders and the minister Ulsi Manja himself, the main responsible for the difficult situation created in the Albanian prisons.

Vox News has often brought to the reader's attention the legal violations of Minister Manja, which should be investigated by SPAK and these successive scandals do nothing but reinforce the need for change in one of the key ministries for the proper functioning of a state. /VoxNews
