Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha accused that the Socialist Party won the Municipality of Shkodra on May 14 with the pressure of the Bajra gang. He published some film footage through which he claims that Bajrat exercised terror on the day of the elections in some polling centers in Shkodër.

In this regard, the head of the SP Group, Bledi Çuçi, was asked about the alleged meeting of Bajrave with a socialist official in Shkodër.

Çuçi has stated that he is not aware of Berisha's accusations, but added that if the social worker met with Bajrat, then the act is reprehensible.

Bledi Çuçi: I have no idea. If it is true, it is punishable. In the SP, there is no protection for anyone who violates the law, unlike what happens to the opposition. You see what they are doing the moment justice intervenes where it sees that crimes have been exhausted. Our position has been very clear and will continue to be clear. We do not comment on reformed justice issues. He has our full support, whether political or personal, in the sense that anyone who violates the law is personally responsible and does not have the protection of the party.
