The Swedish ambassador to Albania, Elsa Hastad

Sweden's ambassador to Albania, Elsa Hastad, is expected to leave our country after the end of her mandate.

Through a post on social networks, Hastad announces his departure, as he says that he has spent four fantastic years in Albania.

"This is my last post from Albania Albania. Thank you for 4 fantastic years in this beautiful country. It has been a real honor to represent Sweden. I love you all! See you around! Goodbye", writes the Swedish ambassador.

Some time ago, American ambassador Yuri Kim also left Albania after the end of her mandate. Hastad and Kim are known for their friendship and have often been seen together visiting tourist spots and even the deepest parts of the country.

Hastad has been a strong voice for the protection of the most vulnerable minorities in Albania.
