Meta for Ahmetaj: This is a tiger

Not only in Great Britain, but also everywhere in the world is celebrated the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. The United Kingdom Embassy in Tirana has also organized a reception on this occasion.

The entire political elite of Tirana was invited to honor the 70 years of the monarchy's longest reign in British history, with the exception of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who although now chairman of the Democratic Party is receiving messages of rejection from all over the western world.

Present were President Ilir Meta, former chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha (one of the rare appearances since his resignation) and the leader of the parliamentary group Enkeled Alibeaj, the chairwoman of the SMI Monika Kryemadhi, the chairman of the SP group Taulant Balla, almost the entire government, journalists, MPs, diplomats, etc., while only Ivi Kaso is seen as a guest by the Re-establishment Commission. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama was not present because he is in Ohrid for the 'Open Balkans' summit. The guest was also the elected President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, who had a handshake with the current president Meta.

Under the sounds of British music, leaving behind political clashes there have also been cordial meetings between politicians. A greeting between Kryemadhi and Ballës, a hug from Veliaj and Spiropal were some of the warm moments.

Meanwhile, from the images provided by Report Tv, there is an "irony" of Ilir Meta towards the Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, while introducing him to the British ambassador with the nickname 'tiger'.

Present at the ceremony organized today at the Rogner Hotel was also the Special Envoy of the United Kingdom to the Western Balkans, Sir Stuart Peach, who has started today a two-day visit to Albania.
