The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, has reconfirmed once again that the political force he leads will enter separately in the next local elections of 2023.

He stated that his party has set a clear goal to achieve 50 thousand votes across the country, as well as the intention to be represented by two councilors in the Municipality. According to him, if this goal is achieved, it will be a good springboard in the next elections.

"We have set a target that we will aim at two councilors for municipalities, we want 50 thousand votes throughout Albania. This will be a good springboard for the upcoming parliamentary elections. For the first time after 6 years that I am the chairman of PAA, we want to compete with the logo of PAA, for different reasons. This time we will enter whatever will be done. We will enter the local elections, we do not want to include the members of the Municipal Council in the PD lists, we want to have them separately. "If new forces are introduced inside us, we can make new lists," Duka said in an interview with MCN.

Regarding the situation in the Democratic Party, Duke stated that it is divided into two parts where the majority is in the Re-establishment Group. According to him, one party can not win without the other. Duke further added that the two sides of the DP should be split as soon as possible into two political parties.

"You can not win against the leftist candidate. There is no luxury for the opposition to lose any vote. In my opinion, it is very difficult to unite and unify. These two parties will create two political parties, they must do them as soon as possible in order to find contact and bring out political candidates. Why do not both sides find the courage.
