The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, calls the government's action to demolish illegal constructions in the Theth area an anti-Albanian project.  

In a media conference, former Prime Minister Berisha said that Rama has treated the residents of Theth like a savage invader.

According to Berisha, in Theth, but throughout the north, there is not a single inch of land that is xanun, but those lands are the centuries-old heritage of our ancestors.

"Rama has treated Theth the same way as the Montenegrins, Turks, Serbs, Mehmet Shehu. He has treated Theth and the Dukagjinas like a savage conqueror. Edi Rama's hostility towards the inhabitants of Theth surpasses all known hostility towards them to this day.

"Edi Rama used the lowest moral practices, the greatest impudence and treachery to carry out a destructive project for the residents, a mafia project, an anti-Albanian project, a vengeful, primitive project. Albanians should know that in Theth absolutely there is absolutely not a single inch of land of xanun, not in Theth, but not anywhere in the north because they have the land as a centuries-old inheritance of their ancestors and have never taken a single inch of land belonging to anyone else or anyone else's land. There are also no-one's lands, they are called public lands," Berisha said.

Berisha called for compensation for all housing, saying that it was Rama who promised legalization to the residents of Theth.

"A state crime committed against the residents of Theth and I demand an end to this terror. Compensation for all the destroyed apartments, promised to be legalized by Edi Rama. His promises, encouragement, and deception are in voice and image. Everything is being done to cover up the electoral funeral of May 11," said Berisha.

This entire action, according to Berisha, is being done to cover up the 'electoral funeral' of May 11, as he called it. And so, after 2 months of elections, the leader of the Democratic Party continued his efforts to substantiate the farce of May 11.
